Ms. Pape has played an important role in the Federal Government for 26 years primarily serving some of America’s most in-need populations. She has been a recognized leader in the Federal Government since 1991 after serving her internship in Brecksville, Ohio. Ms. Pape has held progressively responsible positions throughout her 26 years in government. She is currently a Senior Executive utilizing her acute sense of leadership in the successful administration of her mission. For her work in government she was a recipient of a Samuel J Heyman Service to America Award in 2012. 

Ms Pape has extensive social work, public speaking and national media experience, addressing conferences and workshops throughout the country. Her written works have been published in trade journals and national publications.  She was recognized for her excellence in social work by the National Association of Social Workers as she received the Knee-Whitman Award in 2012.    

Ms Pape brings high level experience, broad perspective and unique insights to her position as a leadership advisor and counselor. She has a proven track record of successful professional development of employees and colleagues under her supervision. Her high performing teams have been regularly recognized for their exemplary performance. She employs a caring and thoughtful approach to counseling which generates consistently positive outcomes.

Public Service - During his tenure as a prominent business leader in Ohio, Rod held seats on several government appointed boards, including two terms as President of the Chardon, Ohio Area Chamber of Commerce and seven years on the 169 Board of Geauga County, Ohio. He was voted “Chardon, Ohio - Man of the Year” in 1997. He served on the Board of Parks and Recreation in his community and as fund raising chairman for the American Heart Association in Geauga County Ohio. Rod served as a member of the football coaching staff at both Hawken School and Chardon High School. 
Real Estate - Rod has a background in residential and commercial real estate in Ohio as well as in the DC Metro Area. Rod is an active real estate investor and licensed real estate agent inMaryland. He is currently President of the Dorsey’s Search Homeowner’s Association in Columbia, Maryland.  

Executive Leadership Coach - As Owner and CEO of 212 Coaching & Leadership Development, Rod is engaged in a dynamic private leadership coaching practice with clients in Maryland, DC, Virginia, California and Ohio. Rod has worked extensively with entrepreneurs through the start-up phases of their business and has led young executives through the stages of development toward successful careers. Rod earned his Leadership Coaching Certification from Georgetown University and is a member of the International Coaching Federation. He is also a devoted volunteer SCORE counselor and mentor in the SCORE Greater Baltimore Chapter where he works with business start-ups and mentors clients through career changes. He has expertise in identifying career opportunities for emerging executive leaders. His work as a coach, trainer and mentor has been recognized for its effective and caring approach to career development. He serves as an associate coach for Saviesa Solutions in Annapolis, Maryland. 

Personal - Rod earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana, and is an active member of the Notre Dame Alumni Association. Rod’s interests are politics, sports (especially golf), physical fitness, travel and music. He is active in St. Louis Church in Clarksville, Maryland. Rod and his wife Lisa have lived in Columbia, Maryland since 2006. Prior to relocating, Rod and Lisa were lifelong residents of Ohio.

Business Leader - Rod Vese brings more than 35 years of entrepreneurial business experience to his position as an Executive Leadership Coach in the Washington DC Metro Area. His career has been highlighted by 15 years in a leadership role as successful owner and President of a wholesale industrial distributor in Ohio followed by an award winning consultative sales leadership position in digital media marketing. As an entrepreneur, Rod successfully started, developed, managed and sold seven profitable businesses, including his primary business. After negotiating the successful sale of his primary business, Rod embarked on an award winning career in Sales, Marketing, Management and Business Development in the manufacturing sector with such world leading organizations as Greenfield Industries, Kennametal, AMEC, GlobalSpec and IHS. He excelled in new business development and business growth and was awarded several honors for his work. He was a founding partner in SourceApp Inc. and MFG Surplus, featured by leading industry publications as top emerging technologies in the industrial sector.  

Lisa M. Pape, LISW, is an experienced leadership counselor. In her role as a counselor Ms Pape brings more than 25 years of leadership training and experience to her clients. In her leadership  work she has been  responsible for ensuring effective development and implementation of social programs with national impact. She is responsible for executing a budget of more than 1 billion dollars for specialized social services. Her focus is on operationalizing plans and approaches designed to most effectively meet the needs of her diverse client base.  

​Ms. Pape has served as visionary and innovator of programs throughout her career. During her career in government she has been responsible for developing high performing teams as the base of leadership for more than 234 programs. Her primary focus, while in that role, has been to develop and implement policy and operations that improved environments of care, safety, security and privacy of individuals she has served.
